Join us tonight from 6-9pm, at Fairview. Celebrate as we remember those who came before us in our Protestant heritage at our Reformation Celebration.
We’re going to begin with a time of food and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a film for the adults in the sanctuary. Plus activities downstairs in the gym for children and a short teaching time.
Here is a synopsis of the film:
A GREAT AWAKENING tells the true story of an unlikely friendship between the Reverend George Whitefield and Benjamin Franklin that resulted in one of the most defining moments in American history. With the colonies on the brink of collapse, the Reverend George Whitefield ignites the first Great Awakening, uniting an entire generation with his thundering and faithful sermons and proclamations of Christ and the new birth.
Please bring finger foods to share.
Bonus: Make your snack Reformation-themed or Puritan!
