Friday Evangelism
Let’s Talk Truth From 3:00-5:00pm on Fridays we set up a “Let’s Talk Truth” table at the Chinook LRT Station. We encourage people to engage with us on any question about religion, culture, Christianity, and the Bible. It is an effective way to communicate the truth of Christ into our lost and blind culture. Preaching Class
Pastor Tim is teaching a seven‑week course on Biblical preaching, guiding men in how to study the Scriptures deeply and proclaim the Word of God with faithfulness to the text and build confidence in the Scripture. This class will be taught in the Upper Room with a practicum portion in the Sanctuary following the teaching time.
Sunday Seminars
We offer a variety of seminars on Sunday mornings to instruct and encourage Christians to grow in the faith.
Worship Service
We gather to worship this Sunday at 10:30am. All are welcome as we gather to worship God in song, prayer, the Lord’s supper, and hearing the Word preached.
Fellowship Meal
We typically share a Fellowship Meal on the first Sunday of the month. The meal is a potluck style community meal where everyone enough for themselves and extra to share. Visitors are be welcome to join us and encouraged to bring something the following month. Click here for tips on preparing for the fellowship meal.
Men’s Morning Study & Prayer
Every Tuesday from 6:00am – 7:00am, men of all ages are welcome to join an intentional time of focused study and prayer. Currently, the men are going through the Book of Proverbs.
Imago Dei Pro-Life Outreach
Every Tuesday from 11:00-12:00pm, our Imago Dei team meets outside the Kensington abortion clinic (2431 5 Ave NW) to stand against the evil of abortion and witness for the gospel of Christ. All are welcome to attend.
Outreach Ministry – Food Preparation
Join us on Wednesdays from 10am-12(noon) to help put together sandwiches, drinks, snacks, and a gospel resource into bags so we can deliver them to the homeless. You do not need to bring anything. We will have all the items to put into the hampers. All we have to do is show up and help put it all together. Prayer Meeting
Join us a we gather for our weekly prayer meeting. We begin with a hymn and short devotional to prepare our minds and hearts to come before our great God together.
For the Good of the Province
Fairview will be hosting the “For the Good of the Province” event on Tuesday, October 13 at 7pm. Join us for an evening of talks and Q&A panel on Alberta’s 2026 Referendum. We will examine the ten questions on the ballot and equip Christians to thoughtfully engage with these issues in our province’s political landscape while keeping the gospel at the center. Ladies’ Meeting – Train Up a Child
Ladies, join us at the church from 9:30 to 11:30 am. on Friday, October 16th, as we discuss child training and discipline. Reformation Celebration
Friday, October 30, 6-9 pm, at Fairview. Celebrate as we remember those who came before us in our Protestant heritage at our Reformation Celebration. We’re going to begin with a time of food and fellowship, followed by a film for the adults in the sanctuary and a program downstairs in the gym for children At this event, please bring finger foods to share.
