The church is a community of likeminded followers of Jesus who spur one another on to love and good works. These times of fellowship are vital to the health of each disciple of Jesus.
Fellowship Meal
We typically share a Fellowship Meal on the first Sunday of the month. The meal is a potluck style community meal where everyone enough for themselves and extra to share. Visitors are be welcome to join us and encouraged to bring something the following month. Click here for tips on preparing for the fellowship meal.
For the Good of the Province
Fairview will be hosting the “For the Good of the Province” event on Tuesday, October 13 at 7pm. Join us for an evening of talks and Q&A panel on Alberta’s 2026 Referendum. We will examine the ten questions on the ballot and equip Christians to thoughtfully engage with these issues in our province’s political landscape while keeping the gospel at the center. Ladies’ Meeting – Train Up a Child
Ladies, join us at the church from 9:30 to 11:30 am. on Friday, October 16th, as we discuss child training and discipline. Feel free to submit specific questions to Deb Yuck if you’d like them addressed during the meeting: pdyuck@gmail.com If you’d like to stay afterwards to chat or ask further questions, you’re welcome to bring a light lunch for yourselves and children. Reformation Celebration
Friday, October 30, 6-9 pm, at Fairview. Celebrate as we remember those who came before us in our Protestant heritage at our Reformation Celebration. We’re going to begin with a time of food and fellowship, followed by a film for the adults in the sanctuary and a program downstairs in the gym for children At this event, please bring finger foods to share. Bonus: Make your snack a Reformation Theme!
