Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream and Daniel’s God

Nebuchadnezzar dreams in 602BC about events in the future. Daniel, given grace by God to interpret those dreams demonstrates the power and wisdom of God.

Here we see the sovereign God who is the author of history, who declares the end from the beginning, tells us ahead of time what he plans to do with powerful kingdoms. He also tells us about the coming kingdom of God manifest in the Lord Jesus Christ.

This sermon series explores the book of Daniel. There is much we can learn from this man of God living in exile and being granted wisdom and revelation from God.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
