City-Wide Prayer Meeting
Welcome to Fairview Baptist Church’s second city-wide prayer meeting of 2026! We’re delighted to come together as a united body of believers to lift our voices in prayer and make our petitions and praises as we seek to honor Christ together as a family of faith. The theme for the evening is God-Honoring Labor, reflecting our need to bring ourselves back to the Bible in all spheres of life: church, home, work, family, and society.
Prayer Meeting
Join us a we gather for our weekly prayer meeting. We begin with a hymn and short devotional to prepare our minds and hearts to come before our great God together.
Missionary Meet-Up with Saji Thannikottil
Join us for a live video chat with our missionary partner, Pastor Saji Thannikottil from North India. Hear from Pastor Saji on how God is working among the Indian people, along with the major hurdles that are present within India
Missionary Meet-Up with Dhan Tamang
Join us for a live video chat with our missionary partner, Pastor Dhan Tamang from Nepal. Hear how God is moving among the Nepalese people and the recently translated New Testament in the native language of the people in the region, that Pastor Dhan is laboring in.
Quarterly Members Meeting
All members of Fairview Baptist Church are encouraged to participate in Fairview’s Quarterly Members Meeting on Wednesday, April 29, at 7 PM. At this meeting, we will be discussing a variety of important topics. If you would like a printed copy of the meeting packet, please contact info@fairviewbaptistchurch.ca
Spring Piano Recital
Honour Yuck will be hosting a Spring Piano Recital at Fairview on April 24. Doors open at 6:30pm. There will be a time of fellowship following the recital. Please bring a snack to share. Questions regarding the event, please email Honour at hpyharmony@gmail.com
Women’s Fellowship
Whether you are new to our fellowship or come with years of experience, ladies of all ages at Fairview are invited to join for a morning of biblical encouragement, learning, and fellowship. Childcare available for children 9mo -12yrs. These events happen every third Friday of the month from 9:30 – 11:30 am. Except for October and December
April Fellowship Meal
We typically share a Fellowship Meal on the first Sunday of the month, but for the month of April we will be having it on the 12th. The meal is a potluck style community meal where everyone enough for themselves and extra to share. Visitors are be welcome to join us and encouraged to bring something the following month. Hymn Sing and Fellowship
Join us every second Friday of each month at 7 PM for a time of hymn singing and a time of fellowship following. All are welcome to attend and bring a light snack to share. If you would like more information or have questions, please email Pastor Paul at rpaulyuck@gmail.com
Easter Sunday Service
Everyone is welcome to our Easter Sunday Service on Sunday, April 5, at 10:30am. We’ll be singing songs, reading Scripture, and Pastor Tim will preach a Gospel message. Use this opportunity to invite friends and family to hear why we celebrate this important day on our calendar.
Good Friday & Easter Sunday Services
Everyone is welcome to Fairview’s Good Friday Service on Friday, April 3, at 7pm. We’ll be singing songs, reading Scripture, and Pastor Tim will preach a Gospel message. Use this opportunity to invite friends and family to hear why this day is called “Good Friday.” If you cannot attend our Good Friday Service or desire to participate in both, we invite you to join us for our Easter Sunday Service on April 5, starting at 10:30am. Women’s Fellowship
During this Women’s Fellowship, the ladies will cover basic sewing and mending techniques. Any ladies who have a sewing machine they would like to practice on are encouraged to bring it along.
