Rejoicing in a Great Salvation
When John the Baptist is born, Zechariah is filled with the Holy Spirit and utters words of praise and worship. These words are filled with truth concerning Christ that will bring us great hope and joy. We see in these verses that salvation is much more that we often hear that it is. Passage: Luke 1:57-80
Rejoicing in the Mighty One
We examine the contagious joy of Elizabeth and Mary as they rejoice in the Lord and magnify his might and mercy. May their joy challenge us to have joy in God in our present circumstances. Here is a call to turn from sin which zaps our joy and turn to God in whom there is fullness of joy forevermore. Passage: Luke 1:39-56
Announcing the Birth of the King
We consider the angel’s message to Mary announcing the coming of Christ into the world. So much anticipation that we can now look back upon and rejoice for what God had done and is doing through his Son. Passage: Luke 1:26-38
Four Evidences for the Resurrection
We consider the resurrection account in John 20 and four evidences that testify to Jesus’ physical resurrection. “These are written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). Passage: John 20:1-10
