In a world that is hostile to the gospel, what confidence does the Christian have in his mission? What hope does he have that his efforts will not fail? Acts 4:13-22 brings us to the answer: that the Word of God will endure come what may. As the church takes it's stand for Christ, weak and frail as she is, the powers of darkness will never prevail. God will ensure the continuation of the truth.



Alex Russell

Alex Russell is the associate pastor at Fairview Baptist church. Raised in Drumheller for most of his life, Alex moved to Calgary as an adult with his wife Erika, where they both came to know Christ. They joined the body at Fairview in 2018. There, Alex began to train in ministry alongside Pastor Tim and pursue seminary studies at Reformed Baptist Seminary. He became an associate pastor in the winter of 2021. He and his wife Erika are blessed with three children.
