Strive for Holiness

Hebrews 12:14 calls us to strive for peace with everyone and to strive for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

There is a holiness that is necessary to see the Lord and we are called to strive for it. What does that look like? How do we remain Christ-centered and gospel-driven as we strive for this holiness? We consider these and other important questions surrounding this important verse.



Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
