Love and Hospitality

The center of the Christian home is Christ and what proceeds from that center is love.

As the sun sits at the center of our universe and from it proceeds rays of light, so to Christ sits at the center of the Christian home and from it proceeds rays of love. This love is not just in word but in deed. In this text, we consider hospitality and caring for the needs of others. May God empower us to this kind of love.

Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
