A Cloud of Witnesses Part 3

Here is a call to expect great things from God and attempt great things for God. With world-changers like Moses, Gideon, David and Samuel who have gone before us, we are called to imitate their faith. They trusted God and changed the world. We too are called to trust God and attempt great things for him.

Are you going to live a wasted life? Or are you going to live it for God, trusting him and attempting great things for him?

Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
