God’s Wrath and Righteousness Revealed

Mothers Who Fear the Lord

This Sunday we take some time to celebrate God’s gift of motherhood by considering the inspired words of a mother to her son. We see here such encouragement and beauty in God’s gift of motherhood. Passage: Proverbs 31:10-31

The Glory of Jesus’ Birth

Jesus is born in a revelation of the glory of God. In fact, the decree from Caesar Augustus, the singing of the angels, the word of the shepherds, all testify to the glory of God in the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord. Passage: Luke 2:1-20

When John the Baptist is born, Zechariah is filled with the Holy Spirit and utters words of praise and worship. Announcing the Birth of the King

We consider the angel’s message to Mary announcing the coming of Christ into the world. So much anticipation that we can now look back upon and rejoice for what God had done and is doing through his Son. Passage: Luke 1:26-38

Four Evidences for the Resurrection

We consider the resurrection account in John 20 and four evidences that testify to Jesus’ physical resurrection. “These are written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). Passage: John 20:1-10

The Forerunner Foretold

We begin the account of Jesus with the foretelling of John the baptizers birth. Zechariah and Elizabeth are chosen of the Lord to bring forth this child who will prepare the way for the Christ. May God use his word to prepare our own hearts to receive Christ and be brought to him. Passage: Luke 1:5-25
