The Dignity of Work

Work was not caused by the fall, but it certainly was affected by it. We can slip into a mindset of idolatry or idleness. Who will set us free from these sins? Jesus Christ our Lord.

In this passage we see the creation of work, man, and the garden of Eden. In all three we recognize Christ as the redeemer and long for the day of his new creation.



Genesis

"In the beginning..." We live in a day and age where there are so many different opinions on our origins. What we see from Scripture is that Genesis lays the foundation for all important Christian doctrines and neither science or new theologies can undermine what God has said.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church.
