The Resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus changes everything! The historical proof is strong for Jesus resurrection, yet sin blinds our natural eyes from embracing the truth. Our response to the resurrection needs to be repentance and faith. The resurrection bring validation to Jesus' ministry, it means the debt of sin has been paid, and it means new life for those in Christ. The resurrection is of first importance!



Mark

The gospel of Mark tells us of the person and work of Jesus Christ. Under the inspiration of the Spirit, Mark presents Jesus as the Son of God and the suffering Servant sent to save his people. Mark stresses the authority of Jesus, his great sacrifice, and what it means to be his disciple. This book was given to make and encourage disciples of Jesus, and this sermon series seeks to do the same by proclaiming Mark's message for today's generation.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
