Living Worthy of the Gospel

In times of trial, what is our highest priority? This passage calls us to live worthy for the gospel, giving us what that means and how we might achieve such a lofty goal.

In the first chapter of Philippians there is one command given to the church. Live worthy of the gospel. But with this command we have wonderful gifts from God that achieve in us that which he demands!



Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
