A Life of Rejoicing

It is God's will for you to have a heart-bursting, life-giving joy! God desires your gladness! In this sermon we see how we called to have joy in all circumstances.

The Thessalonians Christians were suffering intense persecution from all groups of people in their area. Yet in the midst of such affliction, they were filled with joy! How is this possible? We look at three times joy is mentioned in this letter and what produced that great joy.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
