Story Hour for Boys and Girls

Everyone is welcome to join us for a story hour at the library!

Story Hour is scheduled on the following days and locations:

  • Thursday, April 13: Seton Library from 2-3pm.
  • Thursday, April 13: Fishcreek Library from 6-7pm.

What is “True Readings from True Royalty”?

True royalty is a reference to our sovereign God who reigns over all. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Creator of heaven and earth and all that exists.

During these events, we read books consistent with what our heavenly King has said. As we read these books we are celebrating the pinnacle of God’s creation—humanity. We celebrate that God made boys and girls. Boys and girls reflect the image and beauty of God. That means, He made you to be you for a great purpose!

These books will also affirm the truth about reality, about biology, about how God has wonderfully made people to reflect his glory, creativity, and design. That is why we call this “true readings from true royalty.”

Who can come and what happens?

While these events are designed for younger audiences, everyone is welcome. There will be a time of reading books, singing, free prizes, and friendships celebrating God’s design of male and female, marriage, and family.

Children are invited to dress up for the event in their favorite clothing or color that complements their God-given gender.

As space is limited, please register for “True Readings from True Royalty” by emailing: info@fairviewbaptistchurch.ca

Note: This is not a protest but a celebration of God-given gender roles. All in attendance should be respectful and full of love and joy.
