The Work of His Hands

The Work of His Hands

Join us at Fairview Baptist Church from July 18–19 for a special conference with guest speaker, astronaut Colonel Jeffrey N. Williams, who served in the USA’s National Space Program until retiring in 2024.

Our Colonel Jeff Williams Bio

Colonel Williams serves as a director on the boards of Grace to You, the Institute of Creation Research, and the Getty Music Foundation. He is the author of The Work of His Hands: A View of God’s Creation from Space. He and his wife, Anna-Marie, have been married since 1980, and have two sons and seven grandchildren.

An astronaut since 1996, Williams logged a record-setting 534 days in space on four flights, launching on both the Space Shuttle and the Russian Soyuz in direct support of the assembly and operation of the International Space Station (ISS), most recently returning to Earth in September 2016. Over that time, he also logged nearly 32 hours during five space walks in both U.S. and Russian space suits.

Williams currently serves as an elder at Word of Grace Bible Church, a Russian-speaking, Slavic immigrant community, in Battle Ground, Washington.

What to Expect

Everyone is welcome to hear his space experience and testimony, God’s wondrous work of creation and provision, how the Age of Science was grounded in a biblical worldview, and how the false perception of conflict between Scripture and science came to be.

Beyond the teaching, this will be an opportunity to connect with others, enjoy fellowship, and ask questions. Don’t miss out to learn about the beauty of God’s creation, science, and Scripture. Invite a friend, come ready to learn!

Inspiring Keynote Sessions: Gain insights about the importance of space, science, and creation all from a biblical perspective. These main sessions will provide practical tools and strategies for an effective worldview that glorifies God.
