This sermon compares the greatness of Jesus to the prevailing views of our society today. Each description of Jesus causes us to marvel and keeps us from being enticed by the vanity of the world. In Jesus we have everything, apart from him we have nothing.

May God grant you sight to see the infinite treasure that God is for us through the Son.



Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
