The New Covenant: Knowing God

One of the wonderful promises of the new covenant is that God will be our God and we shall be his people. This same phrase in the old covenant takes on greater significance in the new covenant as everyone in the new covenant will know the Lord. Everyone will be in a right relationship with God.

This sermon explores what it means to know God and be related to him in the new covenant.



Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
