God Doesn’t Want Your Sacrifice

The New Testament church didn't have priests, the mass, or penance. This is because the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ did away with those things of the past. The substance has come which makes the shadow obsolete.

God has accomplished all that is needed for our forgiveness that we cannot add anything to his work. Rather than going back to the old way, we must trust in Christ and strive knowing he has won the victory.

Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.
